Now in its fourth year, World Wellbeing Week provides the opportunity for people around the world to promote wellbeing.
Wellbeing can be defined as: Good feelings day to day and overall happiness and satisfaction with life.
There are some common signs that might indicate you have poor wellbeing:
- Poor concentration
- Poor sleep
- Feeling lonely
- Feeling bored
- Over-use of stimulants (sugar, alcohol)
The good news is there are 5 ways to wellbeing which have been proven to help you stay well: Connect, Be Active, Keep Learning, Take Notice and Give.
As part of the Age Friendly Salford programme we encourage people to engage in wellbeing conversations with the people around them.
